The youth meetings held throughout 2025 showed something precious: Spiritist youth is alive, restless, curious and deeply interested in building a Spiritism that is more human, closer and more connected to the needs of the real world. What we saw, in Brazil and abroad, was a convergent movement - a true letter of intent from the new generation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The year began with the World Spiritist Youth, linked to the International Spiritist Council (IEC), proposing reflections on the importance of developing one's own spirituality. The young people were invited to think about the transience of material life, the goals of reincarnation and the need to place the Spirit above fleeting achievements. Afterwards, another meeting discussed \u201cHow to experience Spiritism in everyday life\u201d, opening up a space for dialog, self-knowledge and the exchange of experiences between young people from different countries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In October, youth experienced a historic milestone: the 11th World Spiritist Congress, held alongside the 1st World Spiritist Youth Congress. Young people from different nationalities came together to reflect on the theme \u201cLife after life\u201d, debating reincarnation, immortality, ethics, purpose and spiritual responsibility. The meeting reinforced the strength of youth as protagonists of a global, plural and creative Spiritist movement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cYoung people want a Spiritism that welcomes before instructing, that listens before correcting and that opens up space for honest conversations about mental health, affectivity, career choices, technology and emotional challenges.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

In Brazil, regional meetings reaffirmed this same energy. CONBRAJE 2025, held in the south of the country, promoted study, fraternity and integration between youth groups from various cities. In S\u00e3o Paulo, CEAK's Spiritist Youth developed dynamic activities for young people aged 16 to 24, focusing on study, coexistence and active participation. COJEDF, in the Federal District, brought together young people aged 12 to 21 for a day of study and fraternal experience, strengthening their sense of belonging to the local and national Spiritist Movement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

These meetings reveal what young Spiritists are looking for today: a spirituality that is alive, practical and deeply connected to everyday life. Young people want a Spiritism that welcomes before instructing, that listens before correcting and that opens up space for honest conversations about mental health, affectivity, career choices, technology and emotional challenges.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

They don't want to be spectators. They want to participate, create, collaborate and lead. He hopes to find fraternal and safe environments within the Spiritist houses where he can exercise his talents, get involved in social projects, develop cultural initiatives and feel that he is part of something bigger. Less formality, more meaning. Less rigidity, more connection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Young people are also looking for in-depth doctrinal study, faithful to Kardec and the classics, but energized by debates, technology, hybrid meetings and exchanges with young people from other states and countries. They want to understand topics such as the perispirit, mediumship, the vital fluid and reincarnation not as unattainable mysteries, but as tools for inner enlightenment. In addition, he yearns for a Spiritism that is committed to social and environmental causes, that puts its hands dirty, that transforms faith into action and that dialogues with science, education and culture. It wants real opportunities for volunteering and healthy coexistence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Above all, young Spiritists want to find inspiring adults - not authoritarian figures, but companions on their journey. People who welcome them, guide them, value their opinions and, above all, live the Gospel with consistency and simplicity. For this new generation, 2026 appears as a promise: the hope of a more modern Spiritist Movement, more welcoming, more participatory and more deeply committed to what really matters: uniting study, affection, service and living spirituality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
