- The New Year is also an opportunity to learn, work and serve.

Time, as a paternal friend, reincarnates itself in the body of the calendar, opening up clearer horizons for our necessary ascent.

Remember that the new year is a new day calling you to fulfill old promises that you haven't had the courage to keep yet.

If you have enemies, turn the hours into the path of reconciliation.

If you've been offended, forgive, so that love can clear the way forward.

If you've rested too long, get back to the plow of your duties and plant the good with fearlessness for the harvest to come.

If sadness overwhelms you, forget about it and look for the serene joy of a clear conscience in a job well done.

New Year! New Day!

Smile at those who have hurt you and seek harmony with those who haven't understood you until now.

Remember that there is more ignorance than evil surrounding your destiny.

Don't curse or condemn.

Help shine some light on those who pass by you in the darkness.

Don't be discouraged or disconsolate.

Cultivate good cheer with those who visit you overwhelmed by the cold of disenchantment or indifference.

Don't forget that Jesus never despairs of us and, as if hidden beside us, patient and kind, he repeats to us every hour: - Love and always help. Help others by supporting yourself, because if the day comes again tomorrow, I will be with you, waiting for the sweet joy of the open door of your heart.
